I have been told that there is a lockup type shop behind some shops from where fabrics are sold in Carvoeiro. Does anyone know the days and times of its opening? A telephone number would also be most helpful. Thanks.

There's a fantastic fabric shop run by a lady from Scotland in Cvo. Go up Estrada do Farol past the first turn where the Chinese Internet shop used to be. On the right hand side there is a small shopping mall on the lower floor down a flight of steps. She is on the right hand side as you walk up the incline.

Yes her name is Yvonne and we had her make some new curtains for our apartment. Absolutely first class and very reasonably priced.

However whilst I believe that the shop is still there I heard that Yvonne may have left.

...kING OF fABRICS. Yvonne has left to be replaced by a nice Scottish lady called Mary. We had curtains made by K of F last year for the apartment, good quality and reasonable prices. We are having more made to ship back to Holland for our house here.
