• Clocks going forward

Last week we put the clocks forward an hour for British Summer Time. Do you do the same in Portugal or are you now an hour behind us?

Practically all countries all over the world (except the USA !) now synchronise the daylight savings time adjustments. So to answer your question, Portugal is on the same time as UK - and is that way all year long.

So why is the clock on this website an hour out?

Because the server is based in either France or Finland (can't remember which) both of which are an hour difference to BST and PST.

Registered members can update their profiles to show which timezone they are in - then the clock is always right for you.
