• Visiting Carvoeiro in June

Hi all,

My husband and I are visiting Carvoeiro in June for a week, and I would like to ask for any recommendations on what to visit, where to eat and also what's the best way to get from Faro airport. We are staying in the Tivoli Almansor hotel.

Hi Suzy,

Will you be hiring a car when you are over?

If you do have a car, you'll be able to see some great places around the Algarve.

If not, the Tivoli hotel is a 15-20 minute stroll to the village.

For restaurants, you will have a wide choice, from portuguese to Italian to Chinese, there's choice for everyone.

My personal favourites are Maxime (dutch), Casa Palmeira (portuguese) and SulMar (fish) the latter is in Benagil

From Faro airport, you can either hire a car or take a taxi. I'm not sure if the Tivoli have a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel but it's worth asking.

Whatever you do, I hope you'll have a fantastic time in Carvoeiro.

Suzy, what do you like to do / eat. The choice is mind blowing for such a small place.
