Another good one Karen!
Even though I can't be there for a while, its lovely to read whats going on and to know that the old town is opening up /livening up once more..and to see the piccies :)
as you know Karen, I usually stay 'next door' to A Velha but Ive never yet eaten there..I really must try it next time!
and you're the second person I've heard say how good 'Bella Vita' at Clube Atlantico is..another one to try! (expensive?)
But sorry to hear about poor old Barney though..I remember him greeting me when I visited your lovely house..I said something like 'Is he yours?'..and you saying 'He is now!'
Hope he makes a full recovery!

Must say though K, I feel pretty envious of your warm weather there now, as we sit here with the heating full on!
It was FREEZING in Boston today..and theres snow forecast for end of week! ..and Sept. seems a long way off :(
But something to look forward to :D
Very enjoyable read..Thank-you

Thank you Ellie, glad you enjoyed the newsletter.

Barney is still limping along, hopefully he will make a full recovery, but it will take quite a while!

Bella Vita is lovely, it doesn't have to be expensive as the pasta and pizza dishes are between 5 and 10 euros, but if you order meat or fish it can be  - worth it though!

Looks like it's going to be another lovely day today - although we have rain forecast for the weekend.
