In any case, can anyone recommend a "good value" place that is in the CVO area please

Go past taxi rank, then on right side of estrada da farol and take first turning on right near bus stop and a few yards along theres the chinese gift shop which has internet. think its 2 euros for half hour.

Good thought for FAQ? After all this forum is all about internet! Yes, I know that one and there's one at the cafe at Rocha Brava, or used to be.

Out of interest do you consider 2 euros for half hour, a good price to pay..and when people come on holiday do they use this service a lot..or more inclined to perhaps telephone their home country etc.

From my point-of-view I have to check on my few emails for business and the phone is not a consideration. People know where I am if they want to contact me. Now about to check for the CVO weather from Tuesday.

there is an internet cafe in the square in Monchique. The use is totally free.

For recent visits, I've used the internet in the Chinese gift shop and I didn't think the price too bad..you can do quite a lot in 15 mins( 1 euro), I found
Someone told me that a laptop is available for use in Cheers bar from 6pm? But I haven't tried it, so don't know cost

Shall I set up a really nice coffee shop come internet etc.
But perhaps not a good idea..... in that one Guest has stated above that in Monchique it is free....well if that means drinks and strawberry tarts as well....well see you later alligator..

ps Its alright ellie I have not consumed any drink yet...it's all Gambo and Martin's fault, in that they both mentioned records etc....so this morning I have found some of my old records..."in a while crocodile"

Despite searching far and wide I cannot find any reference to t'internet access - and I am convinced that I'd posted about the Chinese gift shop as mentioned by Ellie.

I will add Chinese gift shop to FAQ because it's in the village and I have made use of it. If you'd like to see any others included, please post them (again) within this thread as, Location. Cost (if known).

in carvoeiro have a shop in a shopping centre from kodak and the name of the shop is foto iris they have tree computers for internet and they gone have wireless soon
