Tried to get on the rascals site cos we are coming back to Carvoeiro for our hols in May and they made us so welcome there last April. I presume it is the same people running it, Amanda and her brother and family. Would be good to know

Totally changed now - called Rascals Lounge run by Sergio and Rachel (sister of April the aromatherapist) and apart from some difficulty in understanding their peculiar Geordie/Portuguese lingo , it is more suited to the Golden Oldies like e-Richard, M.C., Bruxinha, N.R. and myself

Smoking allowed (unfortunately in my opinion but here I disagree with my friend e-Richard ), but swearing, drugs (excepting aspirin and/or viagra for us oldies ), fornicating, urinating/vomiting outside of the toilets etc. not allowed.

Thanx 4 the reply. Shame they have gone cos they were really nice people, I know they had a problem with the bad ones but on the whole I think they did a good job with the place and their friendliness was honest and really thoughtful. I do hope their next adventure goes well. I hope those in the know will keep all posted on where the next venture will be so we can all go and wish them well.
