We are planning to come over again in August but I am a little sceptical re a possible water shortage creating problems.

Last August there was a bit of a panic and I have seen on these pages that you've had some rain at times but what's the story folks?

Just a bit reluctant to 'splash out' and booking up without a bit of realinfo that's all!

Of course anyone will tell you that in any hot climate..... water consumption has to be carefully monitor together with possible over developement of
any one location/area, but rest assured we are advised that this will not for the foreseeable furture impair or restrict tourism in anyway etc.

IN the main holiday areas there were NO restriction last year and with the heavy rain this winter you NEED NOT have any concerns about this summer.

Thanks tbbr - sounds good enough forme - didn't realise you'd had such heavy rainfallbut good news for all I guess!

It's been so wet that the 'in' colour for hire cars this year has been changed from silver to red/brown mud colour

Does anyone know what the total rainfall this season is? I cannot find it anywhere.
