Yes, nice one, Kteee. Being a little witch, I particularly enjoyed the "coincidences." Also glad to see I am not alone in terms of culinary skills, although I can do a bit better then beans on toast. :lol:

Really enjoyed your first newsletter kteee well done - and I believe you can make more than beans on toast....what about the macaroni cheese on toast !!!!!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed your New Year's Eve at A Vela. My dad wanted to go there but mum couldn't get the time off and he was so disappointed.

Antonia worked in Switzerland for many years and he was over the moon that he could speak french to someone.

I bumped into her yesterday (well, walked passed the restaurant) and she came out to say hello and when I asked her, she said it had gone really well.

I really hope they make a success of the restaurant because they are a very welcoming couple.

Yes, they are - I understand they are doing a special St Valentines dinner - for all those old romantics out there :D
