Just curious. Has Carvoeiro had any famous residents and if so, who? More specifically long term residents rather than holiday makers -though would be interesting to know who has been here on holiday.

Plenty of (in)famous residents but famous ??......... well to get the inevitable ball rolling there was good old Ken Wood, inventor of the "famous" Kenwood mixer. Not really resident but had a house here for frequent visits. His widow Pat still owns it.

Then we had Gunther, the "famous" German film actor ........!

I've never been to Turkey it looks beautiful but I'm afraid I saw 'Midnight Express' at too young an age & it put me off for life
