Coming over in the next few weeks to check on the house - which of the restaurants are closed for the winter?

Thanks

Hi Owner,
I think if you could post a reply in the form of a list of those restaurants that you particularly, like (go to)..... and I am assuming that you mean just the Carvoeiro area....then it maybe possible to check those out and get back to you. Also I am not sure if the point you raise is in Michael's FAQ Section...so have a look also in there.
The point you raise is a good one and hopefully, Michael will pick up on it after the weekend.

NR. I can't really maintain a list of open/unopen restaurants becasue some close for a short while whilst others close, open for bit then close again

I would suggest telephoning a restaurant to see if they are open. If they are not open the odds are they'll not answer the phone!

Owner, Xico's recently opened & they seem to have carried out quite a major refurb'. Lanterna, Primavera still closed but other restaurants are now beginning to show signs of opening. Don't worry you won't go hungry :)

Perhaps we should start a thread on Open/Closed restaurants? :)

As and when a restaurant changes its status it can be updated in real time

Casa do Bife is open, Bom Bordo is, I think Jota Lita is as well. Alos Villa Medici, the new Italian at Clube Atlantico, I think Via Italia is.

Would it not be better to assume they are all open and then to post those that are closed . . . or vice versa?

Or is it perhaps better to let everyone telephone the restaurant of their choice?

My brain hurts . . . . .

Could someone please tell me the name of the restaurant in the square, on the corner of the one way system, with outdoor seating and a barbecue on which they cook meat and fish, it has a small indoors, and I think is next to an off licence? It is in the centre of the roads.
Many Thanks
