Robbie here. I am taking my own family and another to Carvoeiro at the end of Feb. Can anyone tell me what would cost to take a taxi from Carvoeiro to Praia De Rocha for a party of 4 adults and 6 kids.
Also can anyone tell me how welcome kids are in Carvoeiro in Feb. I have been there a number of times golfing and have fallen in love with the place but it has always been in winter but without my kids. Are they welcome in the bars at night and where would you recommend to go. All the bars in the immediate area are very small and a party of 10 would almost fill some of them

Hi Robbie,
Last summer, we took a taxi from Silves to Portimão in order to travel back to Silves (and our car) via the the Arcade river...there was 4 of us the cost was aound 10-12 Euros. I believe that your intended journey should be more or less around the above mentioned cost.

Yes Graham you have a point...we were 4 adults....well that is if you call me an adult also given the number in your party Robbie.. I am not sure if you will need 2 taxis?

Sorry guys and thanks for the reply. The kids are all very young. They range from 18 months, 4, 6, 9, 9 and lastly 13. There are also 4 adults.
