Yes, it makes light bedtime reading, I think.

The next ones will be more spicy.

Do you think they might get sick of us forum members writing in there, Lesley?
I think your horse-riding one was a tad more entertaining.

I intend to be somewhat blunt in what I am going to say and therefore, if I hurt anyones feelings I apologise in advance.
The Portugal Magazine and other Magazines/Books Countries that Merricks Media publish are good reads, but only in so much as those who contibute their knowledge/talents. In each magazine there are more or less 100 Companies advertising and some household names. The cost of the magazine is £3.75. Merricks Media states page 7 bottom right hand corner"that it is the UK's Number 1 publisher in the travel and property sector, publishing six dedicated magazine titles and a wide range of property-buying guide books.
We are experts in finding and giving buying advice on your dream home worldwide"
Now take a look at the their website:-

I tell you all this, because whilst is is very nice to get an article of yours published......nevertheless, you havee put in a lot of hard work and in some cases a lot of research and whilst some may not mind helping an individual(s) with a problem without any fee.....come on folks out there writing (YOUR HARD WORK) is something else...and these magazines are only as good of course as the the contributors...
YOU THE WRITER.......so imho writers
your talent and knowledge is being used to sell their publications and they get your hard work
"free of any charge" and a nice salary to boot.....so if they are not going to play fair and give you an agreed fee for your work...then may I suggest....
that all you very talented people stop giving away free of charge your talent/hard work and get together and produced your own Magazine on Portugal....Algarve and whatever take s your fancy:evil:

These magazines are not targeted at anyone already living in Portugal but for those with plans ,interests or just dreams.
They only survive with income from advertisers and rely on falling costs of publications due to technology.
Call it what you will " Full marks and credit " to anyone who has the abilities and motivation to get an article on anything published.
To Lesley and Buxhina or anyone else who has the talent please keep it going.

You obviously do not check from time to time Company House and the turn over of some of these companies....these people who own/run these companies... sorry but do you really honestly, believe that they just do so for their health........as for the talent of Bruxy and Lesley, I think that this is pretty obvious.Nightrider.
