Luke mentioned on his site that they have gone to Monchique. But when I went passed before Christmas, there was a sign saying renovating or changing the windows or something similar. Then a little while later the sign had gone, the blinds were down but I could see that there computers and stuff were still inside. Most odd. :?

Yes AFKA1, it is the right people and site.

If they are going to keep the same name, they had better update themselves with IMOPPI then. :? Why are they moving from such a prime location in Silves to Monchique?

A few months ago an article appeared....... that another Estate Agents is opening in Silves because of proposed new developments.....so it is somewhat surprising that a very busy and long established estate agent Alpha in Silves has closed without it would appear any notice . .....

yes it seems that they have done a bunk..most firms would tell their customers that they were moving....and your right their shop really was location location location..to move to monchique..no does not make any sense

like i said!!!!
they told me that prime plot in Silves are almost all gone and people are moving further a field - ie Monchique....and with that there are more plots to build on and more land available, i was also told that they were going to concentrate more on projects now, as more people are building from scratch.

As I said on your site, Luke, the problem is that they haven't done themselves, or their reputation, any good at all by departing from Silves in the manner they have. Whatever their reasons for moving, people will assume something bad and it did seem really odd to go through that "renovating the windows" ruse before Christmas, then to see after Christmas, the shop all shut up and them gone, with no sign on the door, as to where they could be reached. :?

I will watch with interest for the new office etc.
