Channel 4 prog last night listing 20 best places in Europe for property investments.
Portugal was rated NO 3 behind Poland and Roumania.
Despite it being an established and mature market Portugal still came way ahead of rivals such as Spain, Italy and Ireland.

Expected return on £100,000 over the next 10 years was clsoe to 400%!!

Indeed it was, but not the Algarve area I think. A closer reading of the PWC data on which this programme was based will probably suggest a different story

talked about in Portugal was up north of Lisbon. I think it was called 'The Silver Strand' or something like that.

It was the Silver Coast and last year Portugal was voted No. 1 for investment and that was out of a list including America, South Africa and the Caribbean etc.

forgot to add that it was central algarve in the countryside that had the better investment value rather than on the coast. (i think thats correct)
