Is it my computer?

For some reason all the postings on the "General Carvoeiro" site now extend off the edge of my screen so I can't read them. Is it just my machine or does anybody else have the problem? The property forum still works fine.

Hi widge.

It is not your PC. :)
That happens to threads that contain links which exceed the width of the screen, as these cannot be split over two lines. Also images that are over-sized can cause this problem.

There is nothing we can do other than remove the offending post which would probably tear the context to shreds, so I guess we have to live with it

Im pissed off with this too Widge. In fact Im losing my enthusiasm for posting altogether lately.
Far too many 'pictures'..endless websites /links , and as G has pointed out so graphically, overlarge signatures whatever. Is this all taking the place of the written word here?Sad if it is. I prefer debate, wit and banter.
Used to look forward to posting here but Im slowly losing the inclination to do so.

Happy New Year everyone. Of to a good start, children broke the computer on New Years eve, so using a friends toda.
Any ideas, when your PC is telling you to re-configure windows and put original disk in, I haven' got one here, but do have a restore disk, that won't work and keeps saying the system is not compatible. Screen is now white and saying nothing. Is the only option to install windows again, and will I have lost everything?
Can't get it looked at properly till Thursday

Do you get start cime up Tricks? If so,click on search and search all files and folders,to see if i can retrieve anything at all!
If not try re-installing microsoft word and then take it from there.
Have you phone nos. to get technichal support?
H reckons it could be hard drive problems!
Good luck mate :)

I was musing through the Radio Times today and I thought I had discovered a programme on television tonight about CVO forum!

However on closer inspection it turns out to be a programme about words.

It's called Balderdash and Piffle, so you can see where I went wrong

My friend Pipukin-Corialtez is Toda; one of the Tudavar people from a tribe living in the Nilgiri Mountains of Tamil Nadu in southern India, who runs the cornershop. Her family are nature worshipers and have a language ("Drawida") and culture separate from that of other ethnic groups in India, said do you have any polyandry?
