not even a white Christmas forecast for us here in Canada's "frozen North". Temp. at the moment is minus 20C, but should be around 0 on Christmas day. This should make the transition easier to your "same old - same old" weather when we arrive on Jan 7. Yeah, can't wait!!!!

Just checked Yahoo. Looks like things have changed. It appears to be rain from Christmas for 5 days or so!! Did anyone notice the polution today - I believe it may be from the oil fire in England.

Dont think so avvie.It was blown towards France then across to Scandinavia.Thought I saw a report from Nederlands about the pollution.

I don't think Yahoo seems all that accurate a lot of the time. It has been saying a low of 10ºC at night for Portimão. Now I know Silves is always colder in the winter, as it is inland but it has been more like only 1 to 3ºC this week at night. Quite mild and very sunny until about 4pm though. BBC also has good days and bad but it does says rain on Thursday Avvie, so we will see. Cheer up...it is good for the flowers.

Its all lies about an oil refinery on fire, they're just burning the evidence that Blair's an idiot
