Does anybody know where I can buy real cream (not the tinned spray stuff which is all air) in or near Carvoeiro & is it possible to get the usual christmas things like turkey*/goose, christmas pud, mincepies, etc.
*realise this may not apply this year due to asian bird flu

I read somwhere of an english women producing real 'english cream' somewhere not too far from CVO, but can't remember where I read it

. Still I shall try the 'nata' & see what that's like. Wonder if it's any good for irish coffees.

Blue,
Not sure where you are situated but Lidl's carton cream (nata) is one of the better ones and very cheap.
Nightrider.
ps be careful though in other stores...some of the carton ceams are packed with sugar and taste yuk....
