Can anyone confirm the 2006 dates for this event?
I understand it is held the 1st weekend in August, is this correct? I've tried a general search, but with the difficulty in translation, have not found any useful information.

Only thing I could find on the net Nutmeg Nan, is on a German site strangely enough and it mentioned August 8th. The 2005 festival kept appearing when I surfed around. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it and post it here if I find out.

Do you know when the people appearing is announced? Zambujeira is about 1/2 an hour from our house!

Not sure on that one either, it seemed to be fairly late on if I remember correctly, but as I said to Nutmeg Nan I'll keep a look out and post accordingly.

Looks like camping is out next year then pm, as we will all be bedding down at yours for the night.

This festival is from 3rd to 6th August inclusive. Tickets between €40 and €70. Not sure who is playing yet. Let you know.

The tickets for the festival went on sale today either at FNAC or through the ticketline (multibanco) - price 40 € per day or 70 € for 4 days.

This is the 10th festival so it should be a good line up to celebrate but only Xutos e Pontapés and a German group - Gentlemen have been confirmed so far.

If you buy a 4 day ticket before the 31st March there's a 10€ discount but don't know if that means 10€ off the 70€ or 80€ after the 31st March.
