A recent survey conducted in Europe has revealed that British are the most prolific shoplifters, followed by Finland and a closely followed by Portugal. In all, Europeans stole 30.8 billion euros worth of good – 71.5 euros per person. Customers were blamed for 48 percent of the thefts, staff for 29 percent and suppliers 7 percent.
