GNR officer goes berserk
AN OFF duty GNR officer went on the rampage in the centre of Carvoeiro, near Lagoa, causing extensive damage to cars in the area.
The 27-year-old man broke rear view mirrors and windscreen wipers and damaged the bodywork of parked vehicles. His behaviour is now the subject of an internal enquiry and possible disciplinary action. The policeman, a member of the Portimão GNR’s Fiscal Division, had been ejected from several bars in Carvoeiro due to bad behaviour. “He was very badtempered and destroyed several cars,” said an eyewitness, who noticed the man when he came out of a bar in the main square.
and it wasn't even Thursday night! Glad to see he easn't up in the Anteak with the other rowdies!
