Arriving very late at night, does anyone have any suggestions for eating out at circa 11pm ?

Ranch Burger in Portimao by the waterfront serve the best burgers on the planet and they are open 24/7

Other than that I cannot think of any restaurant that advertise those opening hours.

If you're not too fussy I think in the Piazza by Mungo's there are some late night snack bars.

...or stop off at Algarve Shopping on the way from the airport?

That sounds like a good idea Kteee. Are you sure the eateries will be open ?

By the way, this is not for myself. Its for guests. So I am also looking for something easy to find for newbies in the area.

We've come out of the cinema about 11 and I'm sure the food court was still open then

I would have thought that most of the restaraunts arond the square would knock something up and off the menu ie toasty or a steak.
