Did anyone see the huge police prescence and helicopter either hovering low or landing near the lighthouse yesterday afternoon. Just interested

No, but I did see Police and Maritime Police at CVO beach yesterday. Nothing seemed to be happening though.

Have witnessed similar scenario..but was usually when someone/fisherman had fallen from cliffs into sea.......
used to hold my breath seeing the way they perched on the edge of rocks..often low down with the waves crashing almost within reach....
Maybe an accident like that?

Regarding the fishermen perched on the edge of the rocks/cliffs, watched them once at Cape St Vincent, does anyone know if there are any statistics for deaths in a year

Must admit at first glance it looked very official but it either swooped low or landed before I could take a good look
