Hi there

Has anyone heard of this? How big is it? Does anyone know if this is all over Lisbon or just happening in certain districts of the capital? We'd love to go, hence my previous thread on how to get there from Carvoeiro.

Any help/assistance would be much appreciated. Is the city easy to get round? I got a book from the library but it sounded a bit confusing. Mind you, most capitals are...

Getting around is not as bad as it looks.

You can get tourist travel cards for 1 2 or three days etc at any tourist infomation point in Lisbon and they are valid for travel on the metro, buses and much more fun, trams.

The festival of Sao Antonio is covered very fully in 'The Rough Guide to Lisbon'.

A lot of the festivities take place in the Alfama district (which is worth a visit in its own wright any way).

Enjoy your trip :)
