Hey Digger congrats! It has become very cloudy here this evening too and I thought I felt spits and spots in the air :D

However, it started like that this morning and then the sun belted its way through again. The bbc weather forecast does show rain for the Algarve tomorrow...fingers crossed...sorry tourists :P

And its still raining! Glad I'm here for 4 WEEKS !!!! Think we're going to get in the shower in a minute and dress up and go for lunch--oh its such a drag being on holiday isnt it? Its nice that its raining though and the garden needs it. You cant cope with that heat all the time- can you?

I imagine Portugal needs a good solid wet winter to restore water levels to anything like satisfactory. A shower is not going to make any difference.

Stopped raining in Silves outback and now the sun is trying to poke through and I can see some blue bits appearing. I think we are going to have to wait until the autumn folks :(

It's all very well seeing the rain and we all know how much they need it. However, one of my mates and his family are staying at our place again and if he even sees a cloud he asks for a refund. I might get away with it If I say it was a stray sprinkler from the golf club. Mike, Chislehurst
