Hi Blueplummy
PlayOasis is an indoor soft play area - i.e. a padded area with slides, ball ponds, tunnels etc where the kids can run around and burn off some energy. It is air-conditioned, has a bar and serves light meals and snacks
It also has a lovely terrace and outdoor area that sometimes has a bouncy castle.
I think it is really best suited to children aged about 2 - 8 years. It is not as big as the same sort of thing in the UK, but is much more friendly.
They also do a fantastic Sunday roast for about 5E - from what I see many people don't even bother to take their kids for this!

It is on the new road to Ferragudo.
How you find it very much depends on where you start from and which roads are currently closed, but from Carvoeiro head for the golf courses. At the mini roundabout by Casa Juao go straight over towards and Ferragudo. You will go past Colina da Lapa on the right. Turn right at the next roundabout and PlayOasis is the big yellow building (about the only building) on the right about a mile down this road.
Bear in mind that it is shut Tuesday and Wednesday
