Yes you can.....from Alvor (LPPM) ....You can fly either a club 152 at about £60 an hour but you must join the club first (About £30) and do a check flight....or a Motor Glider if you'r into those....or you can fly a 172 or 182 if you like as long as you have personal Insurance with the aircraft registration on your Insurance....This is a legal requirement in Portugal . Some operators already have this but some do not (This is not Aircraft Insurance but personal Insurance to fly in a Public Cat aircraft..all operators have the usual Hull and third party insurance) Check pilots are available if required if you want to learn the area and proceedures. F/P are a requirement every flight but you only have to wait about 15 minutes before you fly. There is also a Chipmunk but this is on a private Cat and is only available on the CAA shared cost arrangement. If you just want to fly as P2..you can just call Ken on 964954279 and go the same day ..The flying is great with Blue Sky every day......anything else you want to know come back to me or give me your email ......Good Flying.

No problem - I can do checkout with 150/2 at 75 euros/hr or Reims Rocket/TB10 at 150 euros or you can fly P1/S.
These prices are plus landing fees (6 to 14 euros) but may be slightly higher by the time you are here due to recent increases in IVA (VAT) and fuel costs.
Motor glider is available through Jorg, a German glider chempionship winner - his cliff flying is quite interesting !!!
Chipmunk, as stated, through Ken.
PM or e-mail me if I can be of assistance.
Roy
