Can anyone comment on variousmodes of transport from faro airport to Hotel Tivoli in Carvoeiro? Could we take a taxi cab or would it be cost prohibitive? Is the train or bus service any good to this area?

Best way is by car or you could arrange for a mini bus or taxi from the hotel to pick you up if you dont want to hire a car. Check rate with hotel and tax service on this site.

It's also called the Tivoli Almansor, not Tivoli which is the group name.
