daisy---life's what you make it! There are loads of walks. There's a splash and slide thingy. there are beaches. What kind of thing do you want to do, or like doing? there are bars and clubs, shopping centres, beauty salons, yoga --everything that you have in England but with the added bonus of sun. :P

Hi, I am visiting in about a month and will be in desperate need of shopping!! Where should I go and what are my choses? Are there boutiques or are the shopping centers like malls? Are they close by and how do I find them?

Thanks

your best bet is the shopping center in guia wich is about 20mns drive from carvoeiro, you can get there by taxi or drive if you've got a car, or you can always try the shopping street in portimao, wich is a kind of a midget oxford street in london.

Not a problem Lukewarm - just ask the missus to drop you off at the lapdancing bar whilst she goes shopping - that should put an end to it

Took my wife to Algarve Shopping for a spot of retail therapy. Explained to her that since she earns less than me, she is taxed at 25%, I am taxed at 40%, so it would be cheaper if she used her own credit card and not mine  .

Aaah, women and shopping - dulls the brain.
