I'm heading to Carvoeiro next week (April 21st) and was wondering what the weather is like at the moment so I know what to pack. Also is there much open at this time of year?

Hi, just got back from a 4 day visit, the weather was great between 26 - 30c evenings are still cool, so take layers with you. We had one cloudy day, but it was still nice enough to be in light summer clothes with a top layer.

Still havn't had the rain the Algarve needs, so if it does rain, please don't get annoyed about it, the land and the bore holes really do need it.

Have a great trip. Most of the restaurants were open in and around cvo, the water parks are not open yet, I think that is from May/June. shops all open so just have fun.

Thanks for that - I will pack some warmer things for the nights.
