Hiya, when r u going out to Carvoeiro? Unfortunately there's no major shops in the town as it's quite small, although you will find a few little boutiques here and there, dotted about. The nearest and best place for shopping is AlgarveShopping, which is a mall in Guia. It's about a 10-15 min drive from Carvoeiro. There you'll find quite a few clothes shops, as well as cinema, food hall, big electrical shop and massive supermarket. Personally as a 17 y old girl I find it still a bit dull when it comes to clothes - especially as I haven't really got much to spend. But you can def while away a couple of hours at AlgarveShopping.
Other than that there are 2 or 3 cool water parks really near to Carvoeiro, the nearest is Slide'n'Splash, which is about 3-4 mins drive away and they also organise buses from carv. anyway. Another is Aquaworld which is about 10 mins drive away. Not sure about buses on that one though.
Also the nightlife in Carv. is cool cos it's so relaxed, no big clubs or anything but the bars are good fun, we have a place out there and I go every summer, for the last 2 years I've had a great time and you meet loadsa people.
When are you going?

There is a good atmosphere in the Algarve generaly in July - busy but not too over crowded. If you want beach info go to the home page and click on beaches - loads of useful stuff including distances from CVO.
