I'm coming over to Monte carvoeiro end June, and hope to play some golf, I now it will be hot, but golfers do it hot and cold.

I've been advised to use Algarve Golf UK ltd based at Alvor for bookings etc. Is this the best or is it better to go direct to the clubs. : :

I would like to play Pinta and maybe Penina. :D

I come over to Carvoerio each year and am looking forward to my next trip.

Is the restrurant at benigil still going strong? :D

These sites are great if you are flexible on starting times. Our experience is that if you want to play in peace, I suggest you contact the individual Clubs and arrange direct, very often you can get a good deal. For Example in the summer, although it's v. hot, it is best to tee off after 1200 as the courses are deserted. Everyone wants to play between 0830 and 1130 - just like the Clubs at home

Thats why I use Algarve Golf, I advise them of my preferred tee-off times, usually a few months in advance and they do their best to get them, and 9 out of 10 times they do. A bit of forward planning is all that is required.

I used Portugal All-Round in February. They were excellent. Tee times we wanted and good discounts. Try www.portugalvirtual.pt or contact Michele Vanacht who was very efficient - micvacht@sapo.pt
Hope this helps
