heard yesterday from local golfer who went to salgados that hey have been told to stop watering......yesterdays portuguese newspaper said that 60 per cent of country hacve got drought conditions...

meantime STILL no purchase of firefighting aircraft..money for our "white elephant " football stadium...one wonders if the whole of algarve will be burnt and destroyed before anything happens...!!!!

Has water rationing started already?...only I didnt have any cold water coming from tap in my bathroom basin today..
actually ..as I type this.. the sky is now covered in cloud..so maybe we will now get some much needed *chuva* !!...
