Just noticed om Google page today, "Its National Womans day" Whats sll that about ? Anyone know ?

I don't know either but when I told my 8 year old son this morning...his response was- thats not fair it was Mothers day on Sunday so when are we having a kids day

I told him every day was kids day

women’s day, not mother’s day…..nothing traditional but a modern achievement to bring attention to things like equal pay and domestic violence……I'd say most people are not aware of it's existence

Apparently the first National Womens Day was held in the US in 1909 in honour of the previous years strike by garment workers.
The first International Womens Day was two years later.

I guess the saddest part is that there is still a need for a womens day in this day and age.

it wasn't just national Women's day its actually INTERNATIONAL women's day
