Hello to all the forum members.

My Fiancee and I ( young couple mid twenties) have decided to tie the knot in the Algarve next May ( 06 that is) and have been advised the Cvo would be a perfect location. Would any forumers ( if that is indeed a word) have any advice on churches in the area ( Catholic ) and also recommend any venues for our reception.

Cheers in advance

There was a wedding last year I think, at the church at the top of the hill, do a search on photographers and see what pops up, should be loads of info and try emailing the couple that married. All the very, very best. Mike

Hi Ciaran
After marrying in the Algarve last year I know how frustrating and difficult it is to try to arrange. We`lived in the UK at the time and there was no information on the net etc. Luckily we were regular vistors to our house and made all our arrangements on our bi-monthly trips... stressful to say the least!!
That is why we have decided to start Algarve Wedding Planners. To try to help brides and grooms of the future at a very reasonable cost.

If you are interested then you can send me a PM (think you will have to register on this forum first). My website is still under construction so sorry I cannot direct you there.

If I don't hear from you then good luck with the big day, I can highly recommend it!!
