golf booking

I want to book golf at various courses. The on-line bookers which are clearly cheaper than booking direct with the golf course are good, up to the point of payment and delivery of vouchers.
It seems I have to arrange bank transfers or make payment by credit card and incure a 5% charge, or it seems I can send a signed cheque with the amount left blank (which seems a bit risky).
Then if booking with one of the main agents I have to stop off and call at Vilamoura to pick up the vouchers on my way to CV.
Does anyone know of any alternative more convenient methods of booking please?
If not I will take the 5% on the chin.
Cheers,
Ian

Ian, email your requirements to Richard Ballington - Have a look at his website, I'm sure he will help you out.

Golf reservations

Hi Ian

I have just returned from a few days golf and I made all my arrangements on line through www.portugalvirtual.pt and I have to say that their service was excellent. Good discounts and the tee times that we wanted. Their representative, Michele Vanacht met me at Faro airport and in return for the cash gave me the vouchers. This seemed a sensible way as I like you did not want to pay the expense of a bank transfer. Michele's email address is micvacht@sapo.pt

I hope this helps.

Thanks Tom,
What a coincidence, I have made contact with Michele at Portugal Virtual, she has booked our golf and arranged to meet me at the airport. Even if something delays the flight or stops the meeting she will organise collection from my hotel. Great service!!
Cheers,
Ian. [/img]
