I have a low loader coming to CVO week commencing 14th february, at the moment it is going back to the UK empty. Does anybody have a load that needs to go back? Perhaps we could share costs. The trailer is 44ft long and can carry approx. 23 - 24 tonnes.

on a vehicle of that size you would probably fit a small coach. they usually carry substantial size builders plant. 360's and dozers etc.

Dear Guest THE J C B and dumper are mine, i am bringing them out as have just purchased a plot of land with ruin at Poco Partido, hopefully going to build new villa and do some of the work myself.Would hire out if not too far from P P. Only problem is Iam not a digger driver ,or typist ,but a brickie, could drive dumper though, we could perhaps come to some arrangement if you find a driver, unless you can do it yourself............P.S for bobt, low loader is now laden for return journey.will probabley be nearish neighbours one day depending on camera,

Hi there..I am also building but near Portimao......been at it almost four years....might finish this Xmas....I'm not a builder nor a Digger driver.(Just unemployed !) ....but anyway if some arrangement is mutually beneficial..maybe we could learn..or hire a driver.....I have many Hectares and havnt even started the 'Forest' bit yet so need to clear etc ...anyway even if nothing comes of it maybe I can help you just sharing my experiences and four years of hell....and back.....??

when i say i cannot drive the digger,I would not try to pull out footings in a confined area, but if the work involved was grubbing up treee roots and that kind of thing ina large area ,that would not be too much of aproblem.AND asthey say practice makes perfect, must do more typing/ perhaps we could have a meet up sometime and sort something out.

I don't particularly want to worry you guys but I think before starting all this work you should check out the need for licences in Portugal for this machinery and special insurance requirements.
Knowing the bureaucracy in Portugal you may need to matriculate the vehicles for a start and also obtain special licences for operating this type of vehicle. Failure to comply may lead to hefty fines, confiscation of the vehicles or even worse.
Maybe someone on this site can offer better advice.

Hi there........Sorry didnt get back to you.......I'm the guest lthat said we might be able to hire your machine when you are not using them..(.Also I can advise you on that Laser treatment place in Lagoa......if you are still looking at that)...I will telephone you on that number you gave me.
I understand maybe there might be some legal problems moving them between sites on the public road...?...Anyway lets have a chat and see if there is any mileage in this idea.
by the way I do have a lot of parking space on my land if you need to park up the low loader or whatever.....(16Acres ! ) ....Ciao
