Without wishing to be rude, it seems the point was that someone had indeed taken the trouble to reply to your question, and that a word of thanks might have been in order.

Comercial establishment thread.
The referred topic has been removed because of spam. Posting in reply to one's own post is considered spam. The fact that there was also a clear attempt to impersonate a registered user just makes matters worse.

Block my IP if you so desire. I am not a commercial establishment, merely someone who doesn't like bad manners.

That was not the point.
You shouldnt post a reply to a question and then subsequently pretend to be somebody else reply to your own post.

The first reply was genuine and much appreciated. The second from CARALINE just seemed sarcastic and not helpful at all hence the subsequent post.

Nothing to be worried but did you notice how many names are used for the same request ??
Looking for an appartment/little house between Silves/Benagil ??
- "Drifa" on the Dutch Forum
- "Kaldor" on the german
- "gerard" on the property owners forum
- "billie" on the buy & sell forum.
Here he (she?) is also interested in Deb's sofa but named "Alo"
(see é-mail
essige@sapo.pt)
Interesting or strange ??

Yes Gerrit..and '257' euros for renting 2bed apart/house!!

..
I was tempted to say..if anyone finds more than one such place going..save it for me!
This isnt the first time 'someone' has signed on as another member here...
I recall it happened to Maddi some time back..for a while I believed it until I was reminded that Maddi always signs in..
something which I often still fail to do

..pure laziness most times..or I write long piece and realised I haven't done so!
But there are funny sides to it..some time back.a year or so...I got a congratulations post from Gerry who thought I was pregnant!(a miracle indeed!)..
but it was 'another ellie'..advertising for a carrycot!
