I'm not sure how you call it but I'm looking for someone that carves business names in wood...you know, like those you see outside bars, shops, etc. and I was told there is a guy in Carvoeiro that does it?

Does anyone know who it is or have the contact? Thanks.

ola Ms P………don’t know about wooden signs, but there must be 1 or 2 “Mister Minute” shops in Algarve. It’s a key-cutting/shoe-repair franchise found in shopping centres and metro stations………..they engrave names into brass and, I don’t know, different materials. Check it out……..

………on second thoughts, these things are not for shops, but name plates for offices above shops….ie. Nosey Parker: Private Investigator: 1st Floor………..that kind of thing

The signs I mean are commonly seen outside bars and pubs...it's a chunk of wood with the business name carved....

Hi n.p i know the thing you want ..if you don,t find an actual sign writer to do this any woodworking or kitchen makers will have a router which will do this for you

on the road out of carvoeiro after Poço Partido (and before Intermaché) on the right there is a place called Atelier de madeira, it's run by a chap called Cesar Santos I think he may be the person you are looking for. Regards Pinkie
