It feels kind of funny, going on holiday to England where everybody else only wants to come back down here for a holiday, but there you go.
I am off to Bournemouth for 10 days. Everybody play nice while I am gone.
Até brêve!

Nope, way to uncomfortable - I am looking forward to a hotel with large soft beds, breakfast, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
For the price of a caravan, I can book a whole load of those.

Gambrinus will need the indoor facilities - aren't they forecasting gales?

still the sauna will remind him of Cvo

Is Bournemouth still a pensioners paradise or have I missed something?

Maybe theres lots of seedy brothels and strip clubs there

are you serious or is this a joke? I would like to know why you chose Bournemouth when (almost) everyone else living here (well the portuguese with money) choses Brasil, Cuba, etc. I am thinking of going to England and would like to hear how you got on.Happy hols

and what pray is wrong with Bournemouth?
Nice sandy beaches.Plenty of fun places. University(where I have connections

) town and where you have students you have------well plenty going on;some of its slightly older inhabitants are swingers too
and theres always the nearby New Forest to explore. Im sure Gambrinus will find plenty to do besides wallow in the jacuzzi

Bournemouth! Englands answer to St Tropez

The choice to go to bournemouth was the easiest part of the holiday planing, it is where my girlfriend goes to uni.
After 2 days I can say this much:
The whole country has a serious weather issue (waaay too much rain and wind for my taste), trains are late, statistic taken from 3 train rides of which 2 were delayed, one so much so, that I missed my connection.
British girls do
always wear mini skirts (I thought it was only a holiday thing), no matter how bad the weather is.
Bournemouth itself is a contrast, during the day it is bustling with families, pensioners, etc, and when the sun goes down the wild nightlife kicks in hard and heavy and all the youngsters come out to party.
Talk about spending money: there is nothing you can't buy and it is all expensive for people buying with the 'ol euro - the price tags are basically the same, only they come with a £ instead of a €.
Now i am off for a stroll on the beach and to discover some of the sorrounding area.
