Went to Makro for the first time just to get some bits & bobs for our villa, but at the checkout was told i cannot use my Visa(debit) card.
Had to pay cash instead. Anyone else had this?

Yes, you can only use multibanco or cash in makro.

been there once and that was enough for us. Don't find it very cheap and not a very pleasant store.
