Can anyone tell me if there will be any entertainment in CVOs square at night during September please?
Remember there was just one week of different singers last September!which I enjoyed very much

Although I will go to local pastelarias and Colombos (of course) is there a decent fish & chip shop in the town..is the one (forgotten name) that used to be Safari bar any good?
Can you recommend one to me--thats also a take-away?

Ellie I don't know if it is still there but in the street that you some into cvo on there was an excellent fish and chip shop. The only full meal the 2 year old in our party ate in 2 weeks Glad he is 4 this year LOL

Just looked on map and the road is Rua dos Pescadores where the Post Office is. hope it is still there because we are out on 12th sept . Only 8 more days to go

The fish and chip shop, Annies, is still there, also Galo de Ouro in Rua dos Pescadores is very good for takeaways.
Don't know if there is still music in the square in Sept.

Have done, Once! (I'd recommend a snorkle though) and watch out for the crabs! (nippy little Buggers)

Caught one on the end of me tackle once,I was out one night on the beach by the sea , cast my rod out,felt something start to nibble,thought,"Here we go,gently does it. it's coming".......it's coming.......
Massive big crab on the end of my rod,What a size!.......So if your thinking of going down on the beach, just watch out for those bloody big nippers!!
