The stall at Fatacl is probably the chap who has a workshop just behind the Fatacil site near the Municipal Vet and Kennels. He makes all manner of decorative ironwork

There is a chap in Ferragudo who makes fancy gates and just about anything in iron. His work is brilliant (I walk past everyday). If you come from Carvoeiro via the coastal road just turn right at Babalu Bar at the bottom of the hill in Ferragudo and he is almost the last house on the left hand side. There are no signs or phone no.

Thank you all who replied to this request. I have made a note of all the suggestions and will make contact with people when next out in Carvoeiro.We are after an unusual design of weathervane and I think a commision is going to be the only way.Many thanks to you all.
