Hi there, will be coming to Carv in early Sept, what can I expect weather wise ???? also does Carv suffer from horrible cockroaches as the missus has a big phobia.....many thanks for any help.

Weather: Warm & sunny but might get a bit chilly in the evenings so bring out a few sweaters

Roaches: You may find the odd one scurrying across the cobblestone, but they are quite friendly and few in numbers

Like the mosquitos topic, interesting that this weather topic (with cockroaches mentioned) have been put under the food heading!
Has anyone got inside info about our local restaurants?

I was in CVO last September from 5th - 19th, and had 14 days of unbroken warm sunshine. Evenings were a bit cooler, but not enough to wear long sleeves. If you are in a villa, it might be worth considering heating the pool. Ours was OK for adults, but a bit chilly for young children.
