find it next to the EN125 in Lagoa

starts on Friday probably about 16.00 to 24.00 and goes on for 10 days finishing on Sunday the 29th. By the way it is also Cavoeiro's festa da nossa senhora da encarnação on the last weekend of August

every town seems to have a festival (and "bank" holiday) every year - I am sure each one has its own separate history ... try the history section of this site CVO.com
