can anyone help ! Is there still a big market at Loule and if so what day is it on?

Also can you still get coach trip up into Monchique mountains as my Dad would like to go on one. He went on one in 1976 with my Mum when she was still alive,but he doesn't know where to book or if they still do them.It was a coach up the mountain for lunch and then down to a Spa . Any help out there, we are coming to Carvoeiro in Sept .

If you look on the front page of this site and access the advert for Monte Carvoeiro you will find a link to Terreno Tours who have an office on the resort of Monte Carvoeiro next to the Reception (or the Admin office next to Motorent on the road out - right at the end of the village). Contact details on the web site.

You will find they do an excellent day tour up to Monchique, including lunch, and with a detour back via the west coast and Lagos.

...ask about the monchique safari at the tourist info place..

Loule market is still on every Saturday morning.
