A plea to any seasoned Carvoeiro holiday makers!
We are coming to Carvoeiro on wed 4th Aug for twelve days, staying at the Tivoli. Are my two 16 and 18 yr olds likely to be bored or have a blast?
I would appreciate any ideas from other parents.

at the Tivoli****Almansor they will be bored stiff. Tony junior/"with fancy drinks" in the bar is a permanent fixture on keyboards, hopefully you'll have the samba dancers from Brazil on Tuesday night. Boom lika likka lika

The guys serving at the bar, however, are cool...
Skip the night buffet too....

You are obviously unaware of what mummys and daddys get up to after 11 at night....
Any suggestions as to bars etc for BTs to visit?
Thanks for info anyway, glad to hear they will be able to escape us and our zimmer frames.

hi,
i've just come back from 2 weeks in cvo, where i normally take a friend out with me. this year i couldn't, however, i got in touch with a group of people going out the same time as me, through this forum, and we had a great time. I am a 16 yr old girl and really did have a good time. i didnt want to come home. My advice is for your kids to wander down into town...maybe get a taxi i don't think they're too expensive, and head for places such as Mungos, the Roundup Saloon, the Jailhouse bar, Rascals, and Sully's. Look friendly and like you're enjoying yourself and you will meet lots of people. Best to go out around 11 and I was gettin in around 4.30am each night (morning!)! Say hi to blonde haired Ollie in the Jailhouse bar from Dani and the Boyos!! haha. Seriously, you will have fun if you go down into town and get chatting to people.
Hope this helps.
Dani x

Thanks very much for the advice- maybe, like happened to you, if anyone else in same age group is going to be there at the same time they could get in touch through the forum?
Glad you had a good time!
