Good morning,

My family are looking forward to coming back to Carvoeiro at the end of July, having missed the last three years due to the pandemic and also not being able to find suitable accommodation. My grandson, who is 7 years old, is mad keen on football and we were hoping that we could find a large enough green area (like a recreation ground in the UK) where he could happily kick a football around with his dad. Some outdoor play equipment as well would be ideal.

Does anybody know of a suitable area. If so, I'd be pleased to hear from you.

You will be lucky to find any green or grass at the end of July

Best is to do what the Portuguese do and play soccer on the beaches of Praias Grande or da Rocha.

There is a small enclosed area for FOOTBALL and other sports, at the top of Restaurant hill on the left, failing that pop in a see Sandro at Hemmingway's he will almost definitely know of somewhere.
