I seem to have lost my google home page, instead I have a Search for Directory. I can click on the small google sign in the corner,and bring the home page up, but there is no "Back" button, which is a pain, because I have to type it in again and again. Anyone any idea's? They would be gratefully recieved.

Go to 'extra' than 'internet options' than you must see under the general tab an option to type a url (address) type: http://www.google.com.

Its terrible to lose your 'google' Jax...but I see youre getting assistance already from R and A....
