It's based on Google Maps so you can zoom in and move around as you wish. Click on the icon for any fire and you will get details of location, status, number of firefighters, appliances, planes, time & date it started.

The other morning (5am) had to get up for drink of water and quickly realised strong smell of smoke!! Checked all round inside and out but couldn't find any fire. Found out next morning either smoke was from the fire in Spain or from north of Algarve. See this weeks Portugal News reporting smoke right across Algarve. Some very disturbing scenes of fires approaching homes on local TV. Wouldn't get upset if it rained heavily to help the firefighters!
