I am afraid that with a budget of £50/60,000 trying to find somewhere in the cvo area might prove very difficult, I hope someone can prove me wrong on this one. But having looked for property inland more, near Silves area, over the last two years, there is very little now in this price range, unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money renovating or building. As far as we worked out, anything south of the N125 is quite expensive, and the closer you get to Carvoeiro the more expensive it becomes.
We did buy a lovely place in Lombos but it was far more than we had first intended it to be. Wouldn't change that now though!

We were looking for a property around the cvo area for as little as possible for around a year! Unfortunately the cheapest we could find was about 160,000 euros in cvo and that was an apartment, although the prices went down considerably in lagos. I think I saw some apartments there for around 90,000 euros?
Fortuately we have found our little house in cvo. I just hope everything goes to plan (nowhere near as simple as buying in the UK is it?!) and its ours soon.
Good luck with your search

Have you thought about a 1/4 share in a property at Rocha Brava.

Just realised where I wrote 'Lagos' above I actually meant Lagoa.
